Fred Baker Cycles has been selling cycles and bike accessories in Bristol since 1935. Since then we have grown into one of, if not, the largest specific cycle shops in Bristol, spread over three floors displaying more than 180 different cycles and 1000s of cycle accessory, components and cycle clothing lines. A massive stock investment of bicycles, bikes and accessories means that on most occasions you will leave with your cycle, bikes components or cycle accessory purchase the same day - it's unusual to find that we do not have an item in stock.
Bristol’s main authorised stockists of Trek Bikes, Gary Fisher bikes and Dawes bicycles. Stockists of Haro BMX bikes and BMX components by Blank, Stolen and Easton. Specialized bikes for family cycling and trail riding.
With a large Shimano Service Centre workshop and service area Fred Baker Cycles has built up a formidable reputation with hundreds of satisfied customers regularly returning to purchase upgrades, clothing and new bicycles.
Trek has a service called Project One. Trek's Project One allows consumers to first choose which Trek Madone road frame is best for them, whether it be the 5 Series or 6 series Madone’s. There are paint schemes to choose from. Custom personal details can be added on the top tube. Once the frame and paint are selected, the choice of what to hang on the frame comes next. Groupset from Shimano's Dura Ace, Ultegra SL and 105, in triple, compact and double crank sets, Campagnolo's Super Record double or compact group set or Sram. Wheel choices include options from the new line of Bontrager road wheel sets, including the Aeolus Carbon and Power tap wheels. Finally, the choice of stem, bars and saddles cables are all that remains. When you're done, send the Order Sheet to Fred Baker Cycles Trek’s Project One dealer.
