'GREAT HARDTAIL KIDS BIKE'

Strengths:

Alloy frame quality and finish. Price. V brakes.

Weaknesses:

only 6 speed. Basic F forks.

Overall:

A good childs bike with fantastic VFM. It was my lad's first geared bike and he got the hang of it very easily with the twist grip changer. Compared with simlar specced bikes, the Dawes is worth every penny. The raliegh equivilant is not as good. Frame has low top tube which allows for a 6yr olds short legs and gives more use over the years.
